Lunch

Most of the shops and monuments in the centre are opened non-stop, so you might want to have just a quick lunch, as most Italians also do nowadays, having usually one-hour break at work. You can try a bar again, for a typical sandwich (tramezzino), a roll with various fillings (such as the very typical frittata) or a pizzetta (two pieces of pizza filled with ham and cheese, for example). Some bars, especially those located in the centre and close to offices, also serve ready-made pasta or salads, etc. If you are a pizza fan, definitely try one of the many pizza-by-the-slice places, where the pizza is very thin and comes with countless toppings.
