Daniela was our wedding planner when we got married in Rome last September. I am English and my husband is South African and we had only just moved to Rome when we got engaged so were still very new to the city and spoke very little Italian. We decided to employ a wedding planner when we realised that we couldn’t cope with the organisation of a wedding in Italy by ourselves. We spoke to various companies but chose Daniela because she offered a very personal and flexible service.
We felt that the other wedding planners we interviewed were less open to our ideas and we did not feel that we would get such an individual, focused and friendly service with them.
Daniela proved to be an exceptional wedding planner. Being an Italian who speaks absolutely perfect English, she was able to effectively communicate our needs to all the local Italian vendors and people involved in the organisation of our wedding – the florist, the church, the caterer, the venue owner etc. Nothing was too big a problem or too strange a request. For example, we wanted a busker who played guitar in Piazza Navona to play at our wedding and Daniela duly went to find him one night to offer him the job.
