Wedding in the countryside

A destination wedding in the countryside: Hannah and Amer

Hannah and Amer travelled all the way from Missouri for their destination wedding in the countryside surrounding Rome, with some guests also flying in from Bosnia, where the groom has his origins.

They picked one of my favourite venues for a destination wedding in the countryside, a romantic villa with a relaxing atmosphere and a truly authentic Italian feel.

They got ready at their B&Bs in the city centre of Rome and transportation to the wedding venue was easily arranged in vans for them and all the guests.

They had a very private exchange of vows under a vine-covered pergola, followed by a photoshoot around the villa’s grounds.

The wedding ceremony with all the guests was then held in a romantic courtyard, under a large tree, with beautiful flowers arrangements in pale shades of pink, blue and white. It was the bride’s grandfather who celebrated the wedding, making it all the more special and personal.

The ceremony was followed by a rich cocktail hour with breathtaking views and a string trio playing. Small details, such as the Wedding Newspaper with fun facts about the couple and games, were truly appreciated by all the wedding guests.

This unique wedding in the countryside then continued with a wonderful reception dinner including 3-courses served under a tent, romantically decorated with fairy lights, and long tables with beautiful reception flowers in small vases, olive branches and tea-lights. It all helped create a soft and natural atmosphere I absolutely adored!

The wedding reception ended with the cutting of a delicious wedding cake, a typical Italian millefeuille, and of course drinks and dances with the DJ.

Definitely my all-time favourite venue near Rome for couples looking for a wedding in the countryside with an authentic, relaxing, peaceful Italian atmosphere. And I must thank Hannah and Amer for trusting my expertise and booking the wedding venue I had suggested, without even visiting it in advance. The most difficult part of my job is to try and find the perfect wedding venue for each couple. What a joy then to look at such happy, thankful faces once they are finally able to make it and see the venue with their own eyes!
